The June cover article for Healthy Indoors Magazine featured the ongoing saga of Lumber Liquidators and their problems stemming from purported off-gassing of formaldehyde from some of their laminate flooring imported from China. This story gained steam after CBS News’ 60-Minutes aired a show about it back in March of this year. The fallout has included over 100 lawsuits filed to date against the company.
Healthy Indoors Show’s Bob Krell had the opportunity to speak attorney Alexander ”Trey” Robertson and veteran industry consultant Dr. David Krause on June 5, 2015, via a video web conference call recorded for this episode. The conversation included discussions about the complexities with sampling for elevated formaldehyde emissions from building materials in the indoor environment and some further perspectives of some of the consumer clients that Robertson’s firm represents in their class-action lawsuit against Lumber Liquidators and the laboratory hired by them to provide sample kits.
Our guests brought a ton of great information to the table, so we decided to bring you the full interview as a 30-minute show. This is one you will definitely want to see!
